Michigan Legal Help is a non-profit supporting people who find themselves in the position of navigating legal problems without the assistance of a lawyer through self-help guides, a robust library of legal resources, and a system of in-person self-help centers throughout the state of Michigan.
Gravity Works designed an easy to navigate resource intended to get visitors exactly where they need to go, which for many is the interactive Guide to Legal Help. This guide provides a series of questions that help visitors find the resources they need to answer their legal questions, and provides paths for additional help should they need it. In addition to a clean, modern design and simple information architecture, since more than 60% of Michigan Legal Help’s visitors are using mobile devices, a mobile-first approach was taken to the design and development.
As part of this scope, we successfully migrated from Drupal version 7 to Drupal version 10. This migration ensured that MLH’s website had the highest level of security, performance, and speed currently available, as well as access to the latest features.
